Pondok Bambu Fire Victims Get Bazis Aid

East Jakarta Mayor, Muhammad Anwar distributes aid from East Jakarta Bazis for fire victims in Pondok Bambu, Duren Sawit. The aid is in form of cash money by Rp 178 that can be used to repair the victims' houses.

Tents Built for Pondok Bambu Fire VictimsFrom Rp 178 million, 20 victims (house owners) received Rp 5 million and 78 other victims (rented house owners) received Rp 1 million.
"I hope the fire victims will be patient. Jakarta Provincial Government will continue to pay attention to its citizens," he said.
Meanwhile, Saidah (45), a local citizen admitted he is grateful for the aid. He lived in a rented house and all his belongings were burned out when the incident occurred.
"We want to find another rented house later. About the aid yesterday is also many, ranging from food, drinks, blankets, tarps, medicines and so on," she admitted.
