North Jakarta Administration began planting typical Jakarta archipelago plants in the Kelapa Gading Sub-district office, Wednesday (9/19).

North Jakarta Mayor, Syamsudin Lologau stated that it is accordance with Governor instruction No. 1/2018 on planting and preservation of typical plants in Jakarta.

He explained that trees that are characteristic of North Jakarta include Kelapa Gading and Nyamplung. In the future, the two types of trees will be planted in the government offices in North Jakarta.
"We will also urge residents to do the same. But our priority is urban village and sub-district offices," he said.
