After the supply and distribution of subsidized diesel fuel in Central Jakarta is stopped by Downstream Oil and Gas Regulatory Agency (BPH Migas), a number of gas stations (SPBU) began to close diesel fuel subsidy for private vehicles and public transports today. It causes their SPBUs deserted from customers.

Customers at Cikini SPBU, Novizar stated, can spend 6 kiloliters of diesel fuel per day. They are commonly city, metromini, and Kopaja buses. "Our customers are dominated by Kopaja, Metromini, and private vehicles," he explained.

At this time, he continued, diesel fuel at Cikini SPBU is relatively few. Motorists who want to use the fuel recommended switching to the Pertamina Dex Diesel at a price of Rp 13,150 per liter. "The Pertamina Dex Diesel is usually supplying 16,000 kiloliters of fuel per month. While for diesel fuel, they can supply 31,000 kiloliters per three weeks," he told.

Then for motorists and public transports who are reluctant to use Pertamina Dex diesel and non-subsidized diesel fuel will be switched to the gas station outside Central Jakarta.

"We've not serve diesel fuel since 12 PM. Usually we suggest the customers to Dex, but if they do not want it, they will be switched to gas station in East Jakarta," he stated.

Similar thing is also conducted by another SPBU Coco 31,102,02 jalan Abdul Muis, Gambir. 

"We had told motorists that we will not supply diesel fuel anymore on August 1," stressed, an officer of Abdul Muis SPBU, Agus.
