Water channels are normalized in settlements on Jalan Laksana, RW 06 and 07 Kartini, Sawah Besar, Central Jakarta.
Hopefully, water flow can run smoothly thus RW 06 and 07 will be not inundated again
Normalization is done to follow up local resident's request through Musrenbang 2017.

Meanwhile, Central Jakarta Water Resources (SDA) Sub-dept.'s Development Section Head, Fajar Avisena stated, normalization is done by dredging mud and replacing driveway. This normalization is targeted to complete by end of November 2018.
"We are dredging two channels. Channel at RW 06 has 140 meters long and flows to Kartini PHB Channel. While channel at RW 07 has 334 meters long and located between two roads," he informed.
His side also installs U-Ditch on the channel to prevent it from collapsing and narrowing.
