E. Jakarta will Keep Intensifying Fire Handling Socialization in Future

It is noted that East Jakarta Fire and Rescue Sub-dept. has successfully handled around 264 fire cases along January up to August 31, 2018. Fire socialization keeps being intensified in a bid to minimize fire case early.

So fire socialization and its handling will be intensified in the future. Thus it can be prevented early

"Of 264 fire cases, the trigger of fire is dominated by electricity short-circuit. People must be more careful in using electricity," expressed Gatot Sulaeman, Section Head of Fire and Rescue for East Jakarta Fire and Rescue Sub-dept., Tuesday (9/25).

Of the many incidents, his sub-dept. has deployed 735 fire trucks. Total losses recorded from fire cases reached Rp 23.3 billion.

"So fire socialization and its handling will be intensified in the future. Thus it can be prevented early," he stressed.
