Jakarta Provincial Government is ready to succeed the 2018 Asian Para Games torch relay that will be held on Sunday (9/30). As planned, it will deploy all units of SKPD/UKPD, students, residents and some communities.
Assistant for Jakarta People's Welfare, Catur Laswanto disclosed that some SKPDs such as Education Dept., Environment Dept., Transportation Dept., Satpol PP, Fire and Rescue Dept., as well as city government and Seribu Islands Administration had stated their readiness to enliven and succeed the event.

As planned, torch relay routes will start from City Hall building at Jalan Medan Merdeka Selatan - Jalan MH Thamrin, HI Roundabout, Jalan Imam Bonjol, Jalan HOS Cokroaminoto, Jalan Rasuna Said, Jalan Casablanca, Jalan Saharjo, Jalan Soepomo, Jalan Gatot Subroto, DPR/MPR, Jalan Gerbang Pemuda and will end at the Kemenpora office.
As for the information, the Asian Para Games is slated to be held on October 6-13, 2018. It will be participated by 43 countries that compete 18 sports with 2,888 athletes and 1,100 out of them are using wheel chair.
Students and Character Development Section Head, Waluyo Hadi stated that 10,000 students of SD, SMP, SMA, and SMKO will enliven the event.
Later on, each education sub-dept. in five cities will deploy 2,000 students from every school that is closest to the torch relay lanes.
"They will wear school or sport uniforms by bringing flags," he stated.
