BKD Holds Sudden Inspection on 1st Day of Work

Jakarta Personnel Board (BKD) conducted a sudden inspection (sidak) to several regional working units (SKPD) on the first day of work. According to temporary results, civil servants’ attendance is quite good.

About 90-92 percent are present here

The inspection was led by Jakarta BKD Head, I Made Karmayoga, who was accompanied by a team named as BKD Impromptu Visit (blusukan). Starting the inspection at 7.20 PM, they first visited the office of Goods and Services Procurement Unit (ULP) which located on the 20th floor of Block H, City Hall, Central Jakarta.

“About 90-92 percent civil servants are present here,” he said on the sidelines of the inspection, Monday (8/4).

Karmayoga and team then continued the inspection to Health Service Center on the 13th floor. All 56 civil servants are present in the office. Afterwards, they visited the office of Jakarta Parliament (DPRD)’s Council Secretariat. The inspection was coincided with council’s attendance check done every Monday morning, which also attended by Head of Council Secretariat, Mangara Pardede, and hundreds of civil servants who gathered in the courtyard of DPRD building.

“66 civil servants are present and 2 others sick (in trial division), all 17 civil servants are present (in financial report division), all 13 civil servants are present (in law division), and 56 civil servants are present while 4 others are sick and on leave (in public division),” reported each of head division.

According to Karmayoga, at this time all civil servants’ attendance data is still in input process. But, he believes that the discipline level of civil servants is increasing every year.

“The attendance data is still being inputted and will finish this noon,” he told.
