City Prepares Urban Farming Forum Establishment

Jakarta Provincial Government will prepare urban farming forum to optimize implementation on large design of urban farming 2018-2030.

According to him, urban farming in 2030 is targeted to open 30 percent land for productive green spaces, to increase urban farming production, to give certification on 1,000 processed products from agriculture, fishery, and livestock.
"Besides, it can be used to improve family's food security against disasters and climate change," he said.
Indonesian Ministry of Agriculture Planning Bureau spokesperson, Subianto appreciates Jakarta Government efforts to realize and integrate urban farming in Jakarta.
"I hope green alley, as one of our targets, can be a tourist destination as in Malang City, East Java," he conveyed.
