DPRD Holds Plenary Meeting About Resignation One of Jakarta Council Leaders and Its Replacement

Jakarta Council (DPRD) held plenary meeting with schedule about announcement of council leaders dismissal and replacement from the PPP faction.

Haji Lulung has made resignation statement from Jakarta Council members of 2014-2019 period as the requirement for legislative candidate registration in 2019

This plenary meeting is led by Jakarta DPRD Vice Chairman, Triwisaksana and also attended by Jakarta Governor, Anies Baswedan at DPRD Building's plenary room.

In that chance, Triwisaksana mentioned, Jakarta DPRD Vice Chairman, Abraham Lunggana has submitted resignation letter to Jakarta DPRD Chairman, Prasetio Edi Marsudi on July 30, 2018.

"Haji Lulung has made resignation statement from Jakarta Council members of 2014-2019 period as the requirement for legislative candidate registration in 2019," he said, Thursday (10/4).

He explained that it is according to Government Regulation (PP) No.12/2018 Article 37 paragraph 1 and 2 about arrangement on DPRD Rules of Conduct, other DPRD Leaders, DPRD leaders' resignation which are carried out in plenary meetings.

"In this plenary meeting, we want to inform about dismissal of Lulung as DPRD Vice Chairman and we assign Ichwan Zayadi as a candidate to replace that position while we propose for inauguration of his appointmen t to Kemendagri," he stated.
