Traffic light and zebra cross will be installed on Jalan Raya Cakung-Cilincing (Cacing) Intersection and road access that leads to Jakarta Garden City. It is still on review and it is targeted to be installed on next November.

East Jakarta Transport Sub-dept.'s Traffic Section Head, Andreas Eman said, many residents have requested for traffic light and zebra cross installation because the road is passed by many trucks and other vehicles with a fairly high speed and make it becomes prone to traffic accident.

According to him, usually security officers (Satpam) manage traffic on this intersection in rotation for 24 hours. They are security officers from a container company.
Due to many resident's requests, his side surveys the location together with related units, such as from police, Jakarta Transportation Dept., and East Jakarta Government. Hopefully traffic light and zebra cross can be installed as soon as possible thus his side can be optimal in preventing traffic accident.
"Our target is to finish traffic light installation in early November. We need to install electric network and its poles first," he explained.
