"We will register tenants in this shopping center one by one thus they don't need to go to tax office for registration," she stated.
Taman Sari UPPRD Administration Section Head, Romy Fahrizal explained, his side is targeting this shopping center to collect new restaurant and indoor billboard WP data in Taman Sari. According to him, most restaurant owners don't understand the procedures for collecting taxes from consumers.
"All this time, restaurant owners assume that tax is taken from business income. But tax is actually taken 10 percent from consumers to be deposited back into the regional treasury," he said.
He informed, until the end of September, realization on billboard tax revenue in Taman Sari Sub-district reaches Rp 16.84 billion or around 74.21 percent from total target Rp 22.69 billion.
Meanwhile, restaurant tax revenue reaches Rp 47.6 billion or about 68.07 percent from total target Rp 69.73 billion and realization on parking tax reaches Rp 9.45 billion or about 67.36 percent from total target Rp 14.04 billion.
"We will collect data about indoor billboard and parking taxes in this newly opened shopping center," he conveyed.
