Second Response Team Departed to Central Sulawesi

The second city response team that consists of 40 people has been departed to Central Sulawesi in order to help the victims of earthquake and tsunami.

Jakarta Governor, Anies Baswedan disclosed that they will replace the first team that has served for 10 days in Central Sulawesi.

"It is done to ensure the condition, stamina, and performance of the team in the field. They must be good and healthy," he expressed, Thursday (10/11).

City Response Team Distributes 1,500 Food Packages to Palu

He instructed them to work sincerely and thoroughly helping victims.

"Take care of yourself and give the best service to our brothers there," he told.

Jakarta BPBD's Data and Information Center Head, M Ridwan expressed that the team is slated to arrive in Makassar, South Sulawesi on Thursday afternoon.

"After transit in Makassar, they will continue the journey to Palu," he stated.

As for the information, the logistic aid is also shipped to Central Sulawesi. Even, Jakarta Provincial Government also initiated the collection of aid from donors by setting up a relief post at Jakarta City Hall, Jalan Medan Merdeka Selatan, Gambir, Central Jakarta.
