Central Jakarta Water Resources (SDA) Sub-dept. dredges mud on water channel from Jalan G Raya to Jalan Karang Anyar Raya, Karang Anyar, Sawah Besar.

Dredging on this 300-meter channel is done after illegal buildings above this channel have been controlled.

He informed, mud dredging has been started since September 2018. Dredged mud is packed in sacks and then discarded it to Ancol, North Jakarta.
"Dredging is done to anticipate inundation. Later on, we will propose budget for retaining wall repair and deepening the channel in 2019," he explained.
