Transportation Dept. Proposes 463 Work Programs for 2019

City Transportation Dept. has proposed 463 work program proposals for next year. It was done in the meeting about KUA-PPAS along with City DPRD's Commission B.

Generally the council approves it and this budget is needed to make Jakarta more orderly and smooth

The total budget for implementing the work program proposal reached Rp 1.2 trillion.

City Transportation Dept. Acting Head, Sigit Wijatmoko explained that the proposal were from four sources, namely RPJMD, RKPD, SKPD, main tasks and functions implementation, council member recess and citizen's proposal in Musrenbang.

Commission A Invites BKD for Work Program Synergy

"There are several points of the program that are a continuation of the local strategic activity program. We're concerned about increasing the use of mass transportation where MRT will operate next year. It's also increasing speed in 41 major road choices," he expressed, at city council building, Wednesday (10/17).

City DPRD's Commission Chairperson, Abdurahman Suhaimi uttered that his party along with other councils approved the proposal. Moreover it was needed to maintain and smoothen transportation.

"Generally the council approves it and this budget is needed to make Jakarta more orderly and smooth," he said.
