Expired Billboard in Setiabudi Area Dismantled

Due to expired permit, a 25-meter-width giant billboard on Jalan HR Rasuna Said, Setiabudi, South Jakarta was dismantled by 98 joint personnel and one crane car on Friday (10/19) night.

We'll give strict sanctions to violators who do not heed the rules after being given a warning through policing

It was done to enforce the bylaw number 9/2014 on billboard, bylaw number 12/2011 on advertisement tax, and gubernatorial regulation number 148/2017 on instructions for implementing advertisements.

The controlling was attended by City Secretary Government Assistant, Artal Reswan W Soewardjo; Jakarta Satpol PP Head, Yani Wahyu Purwoko, and Jakarta Kominfotik Dept. Head, Atika Nur Rahmania.

On that occasion, Jakarta Governor, Anies Baswedan took his time to review location at 8 PM.

Previously at the ceremony this morning, he asserted that billboard controlling at Jalan HR Rasuna Said was a form of seriousness of the provincial government in enforcing the rule of law.

"We'll give strict sanctions to violators who do not heed the rules after being given a warning through policing," he stressed.
