Bekasi Mayor Meets Anies to Strengthen Cooperation

Bekasi Mayor, Rahmat Effendi, met Jakarta Governor, Anies Baswedan at Jakarta City Hall, Jalan Medan Merdeka Selatan, Gambir, Central Jakarta.

God willing, it's a good start to work together

Besides silaturahmi, both also discussed on cooperation that has been made between Jakarta Provincial Government with Bekasi Administration.

"Thank God, we've done a meeting. God willing, it's a good start to work together," expressed Anies, after the meeting, Monday (10/22).

Jakarta-Bekasi Government will Intensify Its Cooperation Review

He felt very happy, as the Bekasi Mayor and his staff could discuss the partnership that had been established.

"If there is a time, we will stay in touch with him (the mayor). This is not just cooperation, but is part of our brotherhood," he stated.

In the meantime, Bekasi Mayor, Rahmat Effendi expressed that the meeting with Anies remained focused on the partnership cooperation until the cooperation related to waste management at the Bantar Gebang Landfill.

"Thank God, I have been able to meet with the Governor and whenever we can communicate," he told.

He hoped that the cooperation could run properly.

"Representing the Bekasi City, I would like to thank Mr. Governor," he stated.
