Construction on Dike A as a part of National Capital Integrated Coastal Development (NCICD)'s project in Blencong River estuary, Marunda Urban Village, Cilincing, North Jakarta is now reached 63 percent from total target 1,019 meters long.

Jakarta Water Resources (SDA) Dept.'s Development River Improvement and East Flow Coastal System Section Head, Andika Purnomo mentioned, currently 555 spun piles have been installed along 527 meters.
NCICD Giant Sea Wall Phase A Project in Marunda Resumed"We target to install 1,056 spun piles along 1,019 meters in total. Currently, we have installed around 63 percent and there are still 501 remaining piles," he informed, Wednesday (10/23).
He explained, it is done as the continuation of the work in 2016 and 2017. In 2016, a 256-meter dike was built, and it continued to 368 meters in 2017.
"This year's construction is targeted to be done in December. We will continue it in 2019 and we will start to build jalan inspeksi (waterfront) in 2020-2022," he stated.
