Jakarta DPRD Commission D supports Jakarta Housing and Settlement (PRKP) Dept. to build more flats for Jakartans.

Commission D Secretary, Pandapotan Sinaga stated flat procurement is important to accommodate Jakartans who don't have decent place to live.
City Flats will Be Monitored Tightly Through CCTVAccording to him, PRKP Dept.'s target to build 14,564 flat units within five years is still not enough. Because, currently Jakartans need 225,000 flat units.
"Thus we want PRKP Dept. not hesitate in proposing budget for flat construction program," he added, after attending at KUA-PPAS APBD 2019 draft meeting, at Jakarta DPRD Commission D meeting room, Wednesday (10/24).
His side will not limit Jakarta Government to propose budget for land procurement thus it can build more flat and accelerate its construction.
"Commission D will not limit the budget, as long as its procurement and accountability are clear. Because it is associated with public interest to get decent place to live," he mentioned.
