North Jakarta Council supports Karang Riverbank arrangement on Jl. Pluit Karang Indah Timur, Pluit Urban Village, Penjaringan. The land on riverbank will be used to arrange green open space (RTH) with interactive facilities for residents, jogging track, parking lot, and culinary center which are considered useful for public interest.
North Jakarta Council member from Penjaringan Sub-district, Suntono mentioned, this 2.5-hectares land is now vacant after being released from illegal building in 2015. He considered, arrangement on this vacant land will beautify the area and it can empower local economy.
N. Jakarta Socializes City Council Election Stage"Rather than empty, it is better to use it for public interest. Culinary center will be made in the location. It can help people to get a job and increase their economy," he conveyed, Thursday (10/25).
He explained, current construction on that PT. Jakpro's land has owned IMB (building permit). According to him, arrangement on that RTH land is also according to the rules because land utilization only use around 11 percent from total area.
Arrangement is done not only for land utilization, but also for pump house repair and ditches of local resident houses, and road repair.
