12,135 Vehicles Netted in W. Jakarta

In January-October 2018 period, West Jakarta Transportation Sub-dept. (Sudinhub) has netted 12,135 two-wheeled and four-wheeled vehicles, both public minivan, freight cars, and private cars.

"Tens thousand motorcycles, freight cars, and public minivan were netted in eight sub-districts," stated Hengki Sitorus, West Jakarta Sudinhub's Controlling and Operation Section Head, Tuesday (10/30).

From total tens thousands vehicles netted, he mentioned 2,013 freight cars and public minivan were stopped for operation; 3,288 were towed; and 4,572 were given BAP.

"56 three-wheeled vehicles, 1,931 motorcycles, and 335 four-wheeled vehicles were flattened," he added.

He informed, at least there are 62 locations prone to illegal parking in eight sub-districts in West Jakarta.

"We conduct operation and socialization routinely to overcome illegal parking that often disturbing residents," he stated.
