Eight pumps on five water pumps located on Koja Sub-district, North Jakarta are ready to be used to handle inundation during rainy season.

It was conveyed by North Jakarta Mayor, Syamsudin Lologau when he led flood preparation during a morning assembly in Koja Sub-district, Wednesday (11/28). There are 600 joint personnel from all regions of Koja Sub-district attended in this assembly.

Those pumps in five pump houses are in good condition and ready to handle rising water volume in water channels or rivers in the peak of rainy season.
Koja Sub-district Head, Yusuf Madjid explained, there are five pump houses in his area. One pump with 500 liters per second capacity in Kresek River; three pumps with 5,000 liters per second capacity in Rawa Badak Reservoir; two pumps with 2,500 liters per second capacity in Pinang; and one pump with 500 liters per second capacity in Melayu Reservoir.
"Koja preparation is very depended on pumps because it is located in lowlands. Currently, all pumps are in a good condition," he conveyed.
