Rain Expected in Parts of Jakarta in Afternoon

The Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) expects rain in parts of Jakarta on Thursday afternoon.

"This morning is cloudy," expressed Hary Tirto Djatmiko, Head of BMKG's Public Relation, Thursday (12/6).

Rain Predicted to Fall From Morning in Jakarta

In afternoon, rain will pour West Jakarta, Central Jakarta, North Jakarta, South Jakarta, and East Jakarta. At night, rain will shower West Jakarta, South Jakarta, and East Jakarta. 

"At tomorrow's dawn, rain will hit Seribu Islands," he told.

Temperatures are predicted at 24 to 32 degrees Celsius with humidity of 65 to 95 percent. Wind blows from east to south in 05-25 kilometers per hour

"Beware of rain accompanied by lightning and strong wind in South Jakarta and East Jakarta between late afternoon until night," he stated.
