Seribu Islands Regency Administration is holding grebek sampah (garbage raid) on the south and west sides of the RPTRA, RW 01 and 03 Tidung Islands Urban Village, South Seribu Islands. It is directly led by Seribu Islands Regent, Husein Murad.

It is aimed to create a clean and fresh island settlement

Seribu Islands Regent, Husein Murad said that it is held every once a week, precisely every Friday. Similar activity is also held on Untung Jawa Island, South Seribu Islands and Kelapa Island, North Seribu Islands Sub-district simultaneously.

"It is aimed to create a clean and fresh island settlement," he expressed, Friday (12/7).

Tidung Island urban Village Head, Cecep Suryadi added that it is followed by 226 people, consisting of regency ASN, PPSU, PJLP, urban village PKK, and locals.

"We managed to pick up 20 cubic meters of garbage. After this they will be sorted to be sent to a waste bank," he stated.
