BMKG Public Relation Head, Hary Tirto Djatmiko stated, thunderstorm is estimated to occur this afternoon. Residents should be aware of this weather change.
"Today we predicted thunderstorm in Jakarta," he asserted, Wednesday (12/12).
Rain is Potential to Fall in Several Jakarta AreasAccording to him, this afternoon is mostly cloudy but light rain will fall in North Jakarta, West Jakarta and moderate rain in West Jakarta, South Jakarta, and East Jakarta. Tonight, light rain will fall in Seribu Islands, West Jakarta and South Jakarta.
At dawn, most areas will be cloudy with temperature to reach 24-32 Celsius degree and humidity 85-95 percent.
"Wind is blowing from west to northeast around 05-25 kilometers per hour," he stated.
He reminds Jakartans to be aware of thunderstorm which is potential to occur in West Jakarta.
"There are also thunder and lightning in South Jakarta and East Jakarta this afternoon," he informed.
