A mobile Samsat service during Car Free Day is opened to serve people who want to pay the vehicle taxes (PKB) and vehicle ownership transfer fees (BBNKB).

Today, until 9 AM, we have served 140 taxpayers with a total payment around Rp 118 million

West Jakarta PKB and BBNKB Service Unit Head, Eling Hartono in the location stated that it is operated at 6.30-11 AM. The average payout is around Rp 75 million to Rp 200 million.

"Today, until 9 AM, we have served 140 taxpayers with a total payment around Rp 118 million," he expressed, at the location, Jalan MH Thamrin, Menteng, Central Jakarta, Sunday (12/16).

He explained that it is routinely opened during Car Free Day in Jakarta. It is alternately held every Sunday by Samsat officers from five cities.

"Every Sunday we open it alternately. But today we open in West Jakarta," he stated.

It is very effectively boosting the PKB revenues and facilitates taxpayers to meet their obligations.

"Just bring STNK and ID card. We will process it only five minutes," he told.

Jakarta BPRD Officer, Dwi Wahyu added that sweeping against vehicles that have not been re-registered is also intensified at the parking lots around HI Roundabout.

"We found nine luxury cars that have not been re-registered for one year or more," he said.
