Fire Burns Seven Boarding Houses in Rambutan

This afternoon, firefighters extinguished fire which burned seven boarding houses on Jalan Bungur, RT 16/06, Rambutan Urban Village, Ciracas Sub-district, East Jakarta. Allegedly, fire was caused by an electrical short circuit. 

There is no fatality but material loss due to this incident reaches Rp 400 million

East Jakarta Fire Handling and Rescue (Gulkarmat) Sub-dept.'s Fire Control and Rescue Section Head, Gatot Sulaeman stated, his side received the report around 3 PM and immediately deployed fire truck and tens firefighters to the location.

"There is no fatality but material loss due to this incident reaches Rp 400 million," he informed, Saturday (12/29).

In order to extinguish the fire, his side deployed 13 fire trucks. Firefighters managed to extinguish the fire in about 45 minutes.
