2018 PKB BBNKB Tax Realization in South Jakarta Exceeds the Target

Total collected tax throughout 2018 in South Jakarta relates to Vehicle Tax (PKB) and Vehicle-Ownership Transfer Fee (BBNKB) has exceeded the target.

There is excess Rp 65,155,071,212 for PKB and Rp 61,505,024,250 for BBNKB

South Jakarta PKB and BBNKB Unit Head, Khairil Anwar mentioned, his side has achieved 103 percent or Rp 2,249,155,071,212 from PKB's target Rp 2.184 trillion and 105 percent or Rp 1,282,487,024,250 from BBNKB's target Rp 1,220,979,000,000.

"There is excess Rp 65,155,071,212 for PKB and Rp 61,505,024,250 for BBNKB. Thus our tax realization in 2018 is surplus," he stated, Friday (1/4).

South Jakarta PKB and BBNKB Unit has tried various ways to collect taxes from taxpayers. His side has delivered 27,850 warning letters and received Rp 23.6 billion from it. Also conducted eight STNK (vehicle registration certificate) operations for four-wheeled vehicles. From those operations, 1,907 vehicles were stopped, 785 vehicles were ticketed, 263 vehicles owners given signed statement letter regarding tax payment that has potential income Rp 1.1 billion, and 561 vehicle tax offenders paid their taxes with total value Rp 973,618,000.  

"We also collected tax from 460 unregistered vehicles with sale value above Rp 1 billion through door-to-door service. But only 391 vehicles owners who paid the tax with total Rp 11.2 billion. We will continue to collect it this year," he added.
