City Gears Up to Develop Seven Tower Flats

Around seven tower flats will be realized in the capital this year. 

We want to make a comfortable flat to our people

Those seven flats that will be built are located in Ujung Menteng East Flood Canal (KBT) area, Cakung Barat, Rorotan, Pulojahe, Kelapa Gading Timur, as well as two flats in PIK Pulogadung area.

"Multiyears scheme will be used for physical construction. To realize it, we've been coordinating with the Goods and Services Procurement Agency (BPPBJ)," expressed Kelik Indriyanto, Head of Public Housing and Settlement Department,

Aside that, several flats will also be revitalized, namely Karang Anyar, Penjaringan, and Cipinang Besar Utara by spending Rp 897 billion, including for tower flat project.

The flat itself would have 6,043 units and is dedicated for low-income people.

"We've been managing 34 flats so far. We want to make a comfortable flat to our people," he stressed.
