Jakarta Industry and Energy (PE) Department's target of this year is to produce 5,560 New Industrial Entrepreneurs (WUIB)s. It is increased by 2,000 WUIBs from the last year's target.

PE Department's Industry Department Head, Elisabeth Ratu Rante Allo said, each Jakarta regions has its own WUIB targets. In detail, West Jakarta's target is 1,015 WUIBs, Central Jakarta 1,015 WUIBs, South Jakarta 1,260 WUIBs, East Jakarta 1,260 WUIBs, North Jakarta 760 WUIBs and Thousand Islands 250 WUIBs.
"Training will be given from March. We will train them about food and beverage processing, fashion, handicraft, and soap making," she informed, Wednesday (1/23).
Thousand Islands to Assist 205 New EntrepreneursIn order to reach the target, her side will optimize Integrated Entrepreneurship Development (PKT) program. This program will give 491 trainings this year with target 40 participants per training. Each training will be held within four days.
"Not only training, we also facilitate new entrepreneurs to apply for Micro and Small Business Permit (IUMK). Last year, we have facilitated 2 thousand IKMs to get IUMK," she explained.
