10 Literacy Parks to Be Made in East Jakarta

This year East Jakarta Library and Archive Sub-department (Sudinpusip) coordinates with East Jakarta Forestry Sub-department to create 10 literacy parks. Gradually, parks managed by East Jakarta Forestry Sub-department will be equipped with reading corner soon.

We want to encourage people to enjoy reading book

For this program, East Jakarta Sudinpusip Head, Eka Nuretika Putra conveyed, his side provides books and arranges it in mini bookshelves.

"We want to encourage people to enjoy reading book," he said, Wednesday (1/23).

This Month, Dispusip Brings Up 'Green Literacy' Theme Activities

According to plan, literacy parks will be programmed in Cempaka Park, Jalan Rawa Lindung RT 01/04 Cilangkap, Cipayung; Bambu Park, Jalan Pagelarang RT 06/01 Setu, Cipayung; Palm  Park, Jalan Raya Centek no. 109 RT 05/06, Ciracas; Mahoni Park, Jalan Raya PKP RT 07/09 Kelapadua Wetan, Ciracas;  Pondok Ranggon Urban Park, RT 04/02 Pondok Ranggon, Cipayung.

Next are Bulak Rantai Park, Tengah Urban Village, Kramat Jati, Abdul Rahman Park on Jalan Abdul Rahman no. 66 Cibubur, Ciracas; Pintar Park, Jalan Waringin Raya no 25, Kayu Putih, Pulogadung; Mayang Park, Jalan Pondok Kelapa Timur Dalam, Kavling DKI, Pondok Kelapa, Duren Sawit; and Brownbeck Park, Jalan Kelapa Sawit I Utan Kayu Selatan, Matraman.

"Target for this program is to equip parks in residential areas with books and reading facilities," he added.
