City Council (DPRD) along with Jakarta-owned market operator PD Pasar Jaya is about to cooperate in food security sector with the Tegal City Administration, Central Java.

According to James Arifin Sianipar, Secretary of City DPRD's Commission C, to realize cooperation, both did a working visit (kunker) to Tegal City DPRD from January 31- February 2.

Along with PD Pasar Jaya Head, Arief Nasrudin, Sianipar saw firsthand the quality and quantity of food before being sent to the market.
"We also see the prices of onions and chili in the market, including how the distribution," he stated.
