This year, Jakarta Manpower and Transmigration Department (Disnakertrans) plans to totally renovate Special Work Training Center (PPKK) Welding Development in Condet, Keramat Jati, East Jakarta. This building has been built since 1980 and requires total renovation due to damage in several parts.

"We concern about trainees' safety and health. We also want the new building to accommodate more trainees," he mentioned Andri Yansyah, Jakarta Disnakertrans Head, Wednesday (2/6).

He is targeting to get the auction winner's name at least in May thus construction project could be started in June. Disnakertrans allocates Rp 6.9 billion for construction budget and targets five months to complete the project.

"In addition to total renovation, we also plan to rejuvenate training equipment and make a pool for underwater welding training," he explained.

His side allocates Rp 6.3 billion to procure training equipment and tools in PPKK Welding Development in Condet.
