West Jakarta prevents dengue fever spread by intensifying socialization and mosquito nests eradication (PSN) together with apparatuses and residents.

West Jakarta Secretary, Eldi Andi said, PSN movement and dengue fever socialization have been done in seven places such as settlements, schools, offices, public spaces, culinary spots, sport facilities, and health facilities.

"One RW in Srengseng and Palmerah Urban Village even gives sanction Rp 10 thousand and flower pot for any resident whose house is known to have mosquito larvae," he added.
West Jakarta Health Sub-department Head, Weningtyas Purnomo Rini mentioned, there are more than 200 dengue fever cases in eight urban villages since 1 January.
"While there are 941 dengue fever cases in West Jakarta in 2018," she added.
Her side tries to intensify Jumantik cadres' skills and socialize independent Jumantik movement to the residents.
"We encourage residents to maintain cleanliness of their environment and participate to be independent Jumantik," she stated.
