Thousand Islands Regency distributes social assistance in form of rice to 1,301 needy families in six urban villages of Thousand Islands. This assistance is given routinely once a month.
Each family receives 10 kilograms of rice per month
"Each family receives 10 kilograms of rice per month," said Windu Cahyaningsih, Thousand Islands' Community Welfare Section Head, Wednesday (2/13).
93 KLJs Distributed to Thousand Islands' ElderlyThere are 405 families in Panggang Island Urban Village, 375 families in Kelapa Island Urban Village, 108 families in Harapan Island Urban Village, 98 families in Untung Jawa Urban Village, 176 families in Tidung Island Urban Village, and 139 families in Pari Island Urban Villages that receive this aid.
"Our target is to distribute rice assistance to all families today," she mentioned.
