Around 30 illegal buildings in West Jakarta are set to be demolished this year.
Verification is done to smoothen demolishment process without causing legal impact
West Jakarta Satpol PP Head, Tamo Sijabat stated that he is verifying the technical recommendations from the Cipta Karya, Spatial Planning and Land sub-agencies on 25 illegal buildings.

For this year, his side has budget allocation for 60 illegal buildings whereby each unit ranges from Rp 10-20 million.
Last year, there were 70 buildings demolished. From that number, 30 out of them were demolished.
"But the 40 other building o
wners immediately process licensing by collecting local revenue by Rp 1.5 billion," he said.
