February, Kali Pulo PHB Channel's Retaining Wall Targeted to Finish

South Jakarta Water Resources (SDA) Sub-department is widening Kali Pulo connecting (PHB) channel and currently build permanent retaining wall. This PHB channel is located on Jalan An Nur RT 14/06, Jati Padang Urban Village, Pasar Minggu. Currently, its progress reaches 70 percent.

10 personnel are deployed to concrete the retaining wall

South Jakarta Water Resources Sub-department Head, Holi Susanto conveyed, before build the permanent retaining wall, his side deployed his personnel to install dolken wood piles on its sides thus it can prevent soil from being eroded by water flow.

His side has coordinated with local residents regarding this widening. Resident who have a land near the channel is willing to give the land thus his side can build the retaining wall.

Permanent Retaining Wall Built on Kali Pulo PHB Channel

"Resident who owns the land has agreed to grant his land and signed agreement letter. By this way, we can start to build the wall," he said, Tuesday (2/19).

Chairul Anwar, Pasar Minggu SDA Unit Head stated, retaining wall is built with 24 meters long and as high as 2.90 meters.

"10 personnel are deployed to concrete the retaining wall. Our target is to finish it by the end of February," he mentioned.
