South Jakarta to Develop Daycare Center

To suppress a violence case against women and children, South Jakarta Administration is developing complaint posts in several integrated child-friendly public spaces (RPTRA) and daycare centers in four district offices.

This daycare which is under construction will be set as a pilot

"This daycare which is under construction will be set as a pilot," expressed Marullah Matali, Mayor of South Jakarta, Thursday (2/21).

Those four sub-district offices are Pancoran, Pesanggrahan, Tebet, and Pasar Minggu. "Residents can entrust their children safely," he stated.

Empowerment, Child Protection and Population Control Sub-agency Head, Eny Rosianingsih added that four complaint posts which are still under construction in Kemunung RPTRA, Pejaten Timur; Flamboyan RPTRA, Menteng Dalam; Ciganjur RPTRA, and Kemandoran RPTRA, Kebayoran Lama Utara.

"Hopefully it is able to reduce the number of violence against women and children," he stated.
