Dishub Opens Muara Angke - Sebira Island Route

Jakarta Transportation Department (Dishub) now serves sea transportation for Muara Angke - Sebira Island round-trip route through Kali Adem Port. This route is officially operated since last weekend.

We hope this route can give good impacts to local's economy

This route has been trialed to transport people since February 16, but it is officially opened on Saturday (2/23). Passenger ship called KM Dewandra serves Muara Angke - Sebira Island route with schedule to depart on Saturday morning from Muara Angke and return from Sebira Island on Sunday morning.

KM Chabing Nusantara Ship towards Sebira Island Trialled

"On our first official trip, we carry 56 passengers from Muara Angke and return to carry 63 passengers from Sebira Island," said Andi Irham, Head of Kali Adem Port Head, Jakarta Sea Transportation and Port Management Unit (UP APK), Monday (2/25). 

It costs Rp 74 thousand for Muara Angke - Sebira Island route and Rp 54 thousand for Kelapa Island - Sebira Island, includes insurance and platform fee.

Thousand Islands Assistant in Economy and Development, Iwan Samosir appreciates Jakarta Dishub for opening this new route.

"Sebira Islanders have long-waited this route to operate. We hope this route can give good impacts to local's economy," he conveyed.
