16 Vehicles Netted Due to Illegal Parking in Jatinegara

East Jakarta Transportation Sub-department (Sudinhub) together with Satpol PP, Police, and TNI netted 16 vehicles due to illegal parking at Segitiga Emas Jatinegara area, East Jakarta, Wednesday (2/27).

In this operation, 2 cars were towed and 14 motorcycles were flattened.

"We want to give deterrent effect for the offenders thus in the future they can learn from their mistakes," explained Slamet Dahlan, East Jakarta Sudinhub's Monitoring and Controlling Section Head.

East Jakarta, 164 Vehicles Netted in Lintas Jaya Operation

According to him, similar operation is also done on Jl. Jatinegara Barat, Jl. Jatinegara Timur, Jl. Matraman Raya until Jl. Bekasi Timur.

Meanwhile Jatinegara Sub-district Satpol PP, Sadikin added, operation is done in accordance to resident's report. "There are 70 joint personnel deployed in this operation," he stated.
