Jakarta Aman App Gets Appreciation by Citizens

Jakarta residents appreciate the launch of security system applications, Jakarta Aman.

This application makes us feel safe in a quiet place though

As stated by Dede Sulaiman (38), a citizen of Sawah Besar Sub-district, Central Jakarta, he was deeply impressed by the features of its applications, which can help the process of reporting, despite from inaccessible places.

"This application makes us feel safe in a quiet place though," he expressed, during the launch of the Jakarta Aman application at the Sawah Besar Sub-district Office, Tuesday (3/12).

It has an emergency button if residents want to ask for help when seeing or experiencing a crime. When pressing the button, the position of them is directly detected.

"Such as fire, brawl, and ambulance aid can also be reported via the application," he stated. 

Even the registration process is also fairly easy whereby people only give phone numbers after downloading via Google Play and the Apps Store.

"I downloaded it. It's very light and fast," he told. 

Sawah Besar Sub-district Head, Prasetyo asserted that socialization would be held toward all urban village heads and residents.

"We do this to make them download or install the application," he stated.
