2,500 Passengers Enjoy LRT During Trial Period

PT LRT Jakarta Corporate Communication Officer, Melisa Suciati stated that Jakarta's light rail transit (LRT) trial integrated with Transjakarta, which began from March 4-17, gets a positive response from local people. 

Around 2,500 people have enjoyed the service since JAK24, Jak Lingko angkot (public minivan) is operated

"Around 2,500 people have enjoyed the service since JAK24 program, Jak Lingko angkot (public minivan) is operated," he expressed, Monday (3/18).

By End of March, LRT Ready to Serve Jakartans

If this program is finished, the Transportation Ministry will test out the LRT train car and its test results would be reported to Jakarta Provincial Government.

"Operational permit will be issued by the end of this month. Afterwards we're just awaiting the fare set by the city government," he told.

Seeing high public interest, his party has extended the time of this program for one day.
