City to Expand Bridges Between Villages

Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan is about to expand bridges between villages, especially those that have been separated by rivers.

"We do this to make better citizen interaction between villages," expressed Anies, when he opened the planning and development forum (Musrenbang), Central Jakarta, at the mayor office, Thursday (3/28).

By so, it can trigger the economic movement of the community.

He added that the issue of equalization of social welfare and economic equality would be a concern for Jakarta Provincial Government.

"Development must be of high quality to make people more comfortable. Which is why there must be an intensive interaction," he stressed.

As for the information, Musrenbang opening was attended by City Secretary, Saefullah; Central Jakarta Mayor, Bayu Meghantara; and Jakarta Development Planning Board (Bappeda) Head, Sri Mahendra Satria Wirawan.

There were also City Council (DPRD) Member, Ellyzabeth CH Mailoa; Central Jakarta Resort Police Chief, Comr. Pol. Harry Kurniawan; local public figures.
