East Jakarta Fire Handling and Rescue Sub-district firefighters gave socialization to 55 early childhood education program (PAUD) students about their profession at Fire Post of Ciracas Sub-district Sector.

They also educated the children about fire extinguisher and its functions, fire prevention, fire handling, and encourage them to participate in preventing fire.

"We explain about fire extinguishing equipment and its functions to them. We also invite them to practice using fire hose to extinguish fire," said Asep Ganang, Head of Ciracas Fire Handling and Rescue, Thursday (4/4).

PAUD children were also invited to ride fire truck and introduced to various firefighter equipment such as fireproof jacket, axe, helmet, boots, fire engine, snorkel and others.

"We also educate their parents about fire prevention and fire handling, especially when using gas stove and electrical installation," he stated.
