Singapore Business Federation Visits Jakarta Smart City

Jakarta Government represented by Deputy Governor of Jakarta for Spatial Planning and Environment, Oswar Muadzin Mungkasa, greeted business visit from Singapore companies representatives as a part of the 'Overseas Market Workshop: Indonesia' organized by Singapore Business Federation at Jakarta Smart City (JSC), City Hall, on Wednesday 4/24.

We hope more cooperation can be built between Jakarta and Singapore in the future

Participants are the representatives of 15 companies in Singapore. They came to learn about Jakarta and its potentials as a smart city, especially related with Jakarta Smart City.

One of the participants, Durairaj Gireraj, Director of AxxonSoft Asia Pte Ltd admitted that Jakarta is a potential market.

"Jakarta is the entrance of biggest market we are looking. Besides, accessibility from Singapore to Jakarta is easy. When Jakarta, let's say, JSC is implementing something, other cities and provinces will follow and take lead from Jakarta," he said.

Besides, this meeting also facilitated participants to know more about Jakarta Smart City.

Another participant named April Koh, Managing Director of TPM Outdoor Production Pte Ltd expressed her interest about Jakarta Smart City.

"It is very exciting to come to the command center and to know how it is taking actions," she said.

Oswar Muadzin appreciates this meeting since it can expand Jakarta Government's network with companies based in Singapore.

"We hope more cooperation can be built between Jakarta and Singapore in the future," he stated.
