Joint Personnel Clean Up Debris from Collapsed Kali Jati PHB Retaining Wall

30 joint personnel deployed to clean up debris of Sumardi's house rear walls. Sumardi is resident who live on Jalan Melati I, RT 01/03, Pondok Labu Urban Village, South Jakarta. For information, rear walls of Sumardi's house is attached with Kali Jati PHB (connecting) channel's retaining wall which was collapsed due to water erosion.

After cleaning the debris, we will install dolken wood piles to support the retaining wall temporarily

Cilandak Sub-district SDA Unit Head, Sutopo mentioned, retaining wall started to crack on Sunday (4/28) morning. But then it collapsed at night around 8.30 PM because heavy rain increased the water debit.

"Kali Jati channel's retaining wall collapsed and its debris blocked the water flow. After cleaning the debris, we will install dolken wood piles to support the retaining wall temporarily while waiting for assistance from South Jakarta SDA Sub-department," he explained.
