2,676 Vehicles Have Undergone Emission Test in West Jakarta

West Jakarta Environment (LH) Sub-department has conducted emission test to 2,676 vehicles on three different locations during April 23-26, 2016. It was held on Jalan Puri Harum near CNI Kembangan, Jalan Aranda in front of Taman Anggrek Mall, and Jalan Kali Besar Barat in front of Toko Merah.

2,503 vehicles passed the emission test, while 181 vehicles didn't

In this emission test, West Jakarta LH Sub-department Head, Edy Mulyanto said, his side has reached the target.

North Jakarta, 417 Vehicles Undergo Free Emission Test

"Our target is to test 2,500 vehicles. On the location, we have tested 2,676 vehicles in total. It consisted of 2,062 gasoline-fueled vehicles and 614 diesel-fueled vehicles," he mentioned, Tuesday (4/30).

In detail, there were 600 vehicles tested on Jalan Kali Besar, 959 vehicles on Jalan Aranda, and 1,117 vehicles on Jalan Puri Harum.

"2,503 vehicles passed the emission test, while 181 vehicles didn't," he added.

He suggested owners of vehicles that didn't pass the emission test to repair their vehicles and routinely check vehicle's emission gas on the nearest workshop.

"Actually, we also have an application that can be downloaded via Google Play Store. This application can help you to know the workshops that can perform emission test," he explained.
