Central Jakarta Library and Archive Sub-department (Sudinpusip) holds #BacaJakarta activity at the mayor office.

Central Jakarta Sudinpusip Head, Meti Lastri said, in this activity children will be encouraged to read a book and make a summary of it. Her side gives 15 minutes reading a book per day for children between age of 7-9 and 30 minutes for age of 10-12.

Her side involves 21 RPTRA administrators and three schools to be participated in this activity.
Central Jakarta Assistant for Community Welfare, M. Fahmi supports this movement since it can encourage people to start reading from early age.
"We hope this can motivate children to read and make reading as a good habit from early age," he stated on the location.
