Ahead of Ramadan, the Betawi Culture Institution (LKB) is holding Munggahan event, which means Islamic community tradition to welcome the fasting month at Nyi Ageng Serang Building, Setiabudi, South Jakarta.

"Including Betawian people, we also usually applicate it to gather and forgive each other," said LKB Chairman, Beki Maradani, Sunday (5/5).

Hopefully it could continue to be preserved and developed because of many benefits.

"We can strengthen silaturahmi (friendship) each other to make us more compact and solid," he expressed.

Meanwhile, LKB Preservation and Development Section Vice Chairman, Yahya Andi Saputra expressed that all members period 2018-2019 will participate the event.

"I hope this tradition can be maintained together," he hoped.
