Anies Ensures Jakarta Has Sufficient Food Stock for Ramadan

According to him, current rice price is lower than yesterday when he visited PT. Food Station Tjipinang Jaya and Cipinang Rice Central Market on Monday (5/6). Garlic's price also increases because of delay in supply. But now it has been solved.

"Yesterday, one container of garlic had arrived and distributed to Kramat Jati Central Market immediately. Its price is now around Rp 30 thousand per kilogram," he stated.

PT. Food Station Tjipinang Jaya President Director, Arif Prasetyo Adi mentioned that his side will load another container to add garlic supply to markets.

"One container can accommodate 29 tons of garlic. We have another five containers for 3-4 days ahead. We will maintain the stock safe to meet Jakarta's needs of garlic that can reach around 10-11 containers a week," he explained.
