No Socialization, Citizens Surprised with Construction of Jalan Inspeksi Kali Grogol

The construction project of Jalan Inspeksi Kali Grogol that passes citizen residential at RT 01/02, Palmerah, is apparently not yet socialized well. No wonder, many local citizens admitted do not know the origin of project.

Tumijan, (62), a citizen of RT 01/02 Palmerah Urban Village admitted he did not know the project in detail. "I and other locals has not received information from urban village, sub-district, or developer on this matter," he expressed, Saturday (8/23).

Meanwhile, such project process has been reached 200 meters long, located in an empty land which was previously a wild garden. Thus, locals do not protest.
But the citizens worry if the project was built up to 4 kilometers, hundreds of houses would be demolished. "That's why lots of people ask this to me," he exclaimed.
Meanwhile, Head of Palmerah Sub-District, Agus Triono disclosed the construction of Jalan Inspeksi Kali Grogol is the authority of Jakarta Public Works Department. So far, his side has yet to get information in detail.
"They (Public Works Department) will also determine where the buildings that will be demolished. We only accommodate if there is socialization," he told.
To accommodate the question, he added, his side has instructed Palmerah Urban Village Head to survey the project site. "I've asked urban village head to check the project site and coordinate with Public Works Department," he stated.
